Who We Are
KC English is a “Community Interest Company”, not a commercial
venture. The enterprise is owned and controlled by the community,
and all profits are returned to the area to be used for the good
of all.
We provide employment and training for local people, helping to
improve our own local economy and aiming to develop further activities
in the future.
We work closely with Point
Europa, a local training and education charity with
strong international links.
KC English is managed by a Board of Directors, all local people
who give their time unpaid to develop the project.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Rural Key Fund, Truro,
who gave us a grant to help start this new community venture.
What We Do
KC English Language School is committed to the teaching and learning of the English language as it is spoken in England. In no other country would you expect to learn the spoken English language as well as with real English locals speaking their mother tongue.
You will speak English in the lessons, you will speak English with each other and you will speak English to the English teachers. You will speak the English language on outdoor trips, in local shops, pubs and restaurants.
We at KC English Language School are committed to providing you with a total immersion in the common, everyday spoken English language in a real English community within a friendly social atmosphere. We aim to show you that learning to speak the English language in England is the best place to learn, and that it can be fun at the same time!
